Cookie policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. Only the French version of this document is legally binding.

Inventory checked against the site code on 1 August 2026. This page describes everything the site writes on, or reads from, your device. It is written from the code actually deployed, not from a template.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a site places on your device and that your browser sends back to it on every visit. French rules are not limited to cookies: article 82 de la loi Informatique et Libertés covers any writing or reading of information in your browser, local storage included. This page therefore describes everything the site writes on your device, whatever the technique used.

Only operations strictly necessary for the site to work, or for the provision of a service you expressly ask for, are exempt from consent. All the others, in particular audience measurement and advertising, require your prior, freely given and explicit agreement.

What this site actually stores

Inventory taken from the site code on 1 August 2026: this site places no cookie. The only information written on your device is the record that keeps track of your choice, and it appears only after you have clicked.

bsvtc.consentement.cookies

Nature
Browser local storage, written by this site and by this site only.
Purpose
To keep your answer to the banner so that you are not asked for it again on every page. The value stored contains your choice, the date on which you made it and the date on which it expires.
Retention period
Six months from the date of your choice.
Consent
Written only after a click on “Accept” or on “Reject”. Nothing is written before that, and simply carrying on browsing triggers no writing at all.

What does not exist on this site, and what it would be dishonest to have you agree to:

  • No audience measurement tool is installed, neither Google Analytics, nor Matomo, nor any equivalent.
  • No advertising network, no social network pixel, no third party sharing button.
  • No third party map, video or form is embedded in the pages.
  • The fonts are served by the site itself: your browser does not contact Google Fonts.
  • A content security policy limits your browser’s connections to the domain of this site alone.

What the stored record is for

This record serves only to remember your answer to the banner. It contains no advertising identifier, no profile and no personal data: only the value of your choice and its dates. It stays in your browser and is sent to no server, including ours.

The CNIL treats the record that stores a user’s choice as necessary: it is itself exempt from consent, since otherwise your refusal could not be kept.

Accepting activates no tracker today, since none is installed. Your answer is kept so that it can be applied if an audience measurement tool were ever added: this page and the banner would then be updated before anything was switched on.

How long your choice is kept

Six months, in line with the CNIL recommendation. After that, the record is ignored and the banner is shown to you again.

A refusal is kept for exactly as long as an acceptance: you will not be asked again on every visit for having said no.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your mind at any time from the block at the bottom of this page. It is permanently reachable through the “Cookie policy” link in the footer, on every page of the site. Withdrawing your agreement there is as easy as giving it.

On this page the banner is not displayed, so as not to get in the way of reading: the same buttons, presented at the same level, are in the block below.

Third party services and data transfers

No third party script is loaded in your pages. Only one outside service is involved, and never from your browser: the address search offered in the forms.

When you type an address, your text is sent to our server, which queries Photon, an address search engine based on the open data of OpenStreetMap and operated by the company komoot, established in Germany. The request leaves from our server: your browser never contacts that service, your IP address is not passed to it and it cannot place any cookie on your device. Only the text typed in the address field reaches it.

This processing takes place within the European Union. If the site operator changed address search provider, this page would have to be updated before the new one went into service.

The information you send through the booking and contact forms follows a separate path, described in the privacy policy.

Questions and complaints

For any question about this page, or to exercise your rights, the contact details and the full list of your rights are set out in the privacy policy. You may also refer the matter to the CNIL, the French authority for the protection of personal data.

Your choice

You can give or withdraw your agreement here, at any time. Both options are presented at the same level and take effect immediately in the same way: no tracker is switched on either way, only your answer is saved.

Current status : Reading your choice.

Erasing your choice removes the record from your browser: the banner will be shown to you again on the other pages of the site.
